*Bring it to the light*

I will always remember what my Senior High School headmistress always says, 'major the majors and minor the minors'.

As human as we are, we tend to get carried away and distracted by many  little things.

In the bank, because of fraud, there is a device that is used to detect whether a currency note is genuine or fake. It's a UV light.

What am I trying to say?

Are there issues that are eating you up?

Are some things distracting you?

Then bring it to the light and see if it's a major or minor issue. Bring it to the light of God's Word and see if it has any eternal value.

Paul in Col 3:2 admonishes us to set our heart and mind on things above where Christ is seated, not on things of the earth.

So let's bring all those issues to the eternal light of God's Word before it steals our peace and joy.

*1 KINGS 18: 44*

*The seventh time the servant reported, " A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea.

So Elijah said, " Go tell Ahab, 'Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.' "*

Elijah needed just a cloud as small as a man's hand to believe that there was going to be an abundance of rain after years of drought.

Sometimes we look for the big evidence like God's voice in thunderings and all to assure us that His Word will come to pass. Truth is we don't. His Word is more than enough. What Jesus did is enough assurance. After all, He gave us His Only Begotten Son, what at all will he withhold from us.

Be assured. His Word is that small cloud like a man's hand to cause a thundering of rain.

Believe the Word.

*Right relationship at the right time*

It feels great. Spending time with that special person and sharing your life with someone. It does but like our verse for today says. There's a right time for every thing. As a young person, we are admonished to seek our Creator while we are still young. Build your relationship with God and watch Him lead you to that person. Let Him author your love story. Don't go ahead of Him.

Save yourself for the one He is preparing for you.

It will be worth the wait.

*Life is process*

It's amazing how sometimes we feel that God should shake his 'majic' wand and wipe all our sufferings, problems, away. He doesn't because life is a process and there's beauty in everything that goes through a process.

If life wasn't a process, then Jesus would have come to the earth a full grown man and not a baby. Jesus had to grow. Life is about growth and anything that doesn't grow eventually dies. Every great tree was once a seed.

So allow God take you through the process. The end result will be worth the toil.
